here we have some backgrounds and layouts.

the first and second are concepts for something Scifi, but different kinds of Scifi.

the third is a village layout concept can be used for a period piece or high fantasy. has a lot more work to be done, but its just an idea.

then the fourth is a city street of a post apocalyptic setting.
